For more than 30 years CLC consultants have been working with thousands of leaders and managers across a range of different sized business, in a variety of sectors and functions and with local and global reach. We have supported those leaders, coached them and guided them on their own journey of self actualisation and have seen individual growth and corporate growth in equal measure. We have revisited clients for further and follow-on projects and have been able to verify and quantify the value of our earlier support.

CLC was formed in 1978 to support CEOs and senior leaders as they sought to manage the difficult issues of developing and aligning their people behind the delivery of future leadership mindsets that were and still are needed to transform organisations and ways of working.

The CLC methodology (IP) has evolved through a number of iterations into a substantial body of work based upon a set of core principles. It has been rigorously tested and is refined and updated every year. We believe it is unique as a methodology in that it is designed to support three levels of leadership Individuals, Teams and the Whole System.

The original principles of CLC still hold true today: To co-operate with the expression of the highest potential within each leader and to help these leaders make a difference to the lives of those who work around them and to their organisations as a whole, so that care, empathy, honesty and transparency as well as sustainable business performance and financial success can guide our working relationships and organisational ethos.

It is in Organisations where most people spend most of their time today and they are key vehicles for personal and group transformation. In this sense organisations are psycho-socio and socio-cultural leverage points at this time and, we believe, for the foreseeable future

CLC Consultants have worked with leaders at all levels in organisations and in many sectors, helping them develop themselves and then using that insight to leverage change, growth, alignment and an appetite for development throughout their organisations.

Our research and observations are extensive, in depth and academically substantiated and provide clear evidence that there are five essential dimensions of Leadership - 5DL- that characterise outstanding leaders and will we believe, be the standard of the future. It is also clear that these essential dimensions can be developed. Our consultants now use this framework in their assignments which typically involve:-

  • Securing the Leader
  • Securing the Change / Project
  • Securing the Team

We are a group of highly qualified yet immensely practical consultants with a rich experience in global leadership and management consulting who have worked in many different countries around the world and posses a mix of different linguistic capabilities. Our consultants combine their organisational and leadership experience with training and hands on experience in psychotherapy, therapeutic counselling and business psychology. Therefore they are ideally, even uniquely placed to help senior leaders deal with many human issues and emotional conflicts as they seek to bring about changes in their business environment.
