Sam Cairns



Samantha is a management consultant, coach, trainer and qualified psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience in communications, personal and organisational development.

Samantha’s career began in marketing and communications, undertaking management roles for both blue chip and medium sized organisations within the UK and internationally, in the IT sector.  Her desire to encourage organisations to develop and liberate the creative talent of individuals and teams led her to personal development training and professional studies in psychology.  She has since been working at the heart of large scale international change and development programmes both as an implementer and a consultant.  She is also a visiting trainer with an Institute in Sweden. Samantha has worked with Roger Evans for the past 15 years and is a senior consultant with CLC.

She is an experienced coach and facilitator of senior leadership teams and has valuable experience of working with individuals and teams from all walks of life and cultures; most recently supporting groups working with cultural diversity in Mexico.  She fosters a highly supportive as well as inspiring and creative environment whether that be leading innovative groups for people living with cancer, to large group facilitation of corporate change events across the UK, Europe, Asia and North America. 

She has worked with organisations such as Reuters, the RAC, British Telecom, S4C, Lloyds TSB, Texas Instruments, Bristol Cancer Help Centre.



  • Design and implementation of an internal change & communications strategy to embed & engage staff in the repositioning of a major UK brand.  This included facilitating teams to understand new brand values, change behaviours and deliver a superior level of customer service focus.
  • Lead change & communications consultant designing & supporting the change implementation strategies for new systems, processes and organisational design including the reduction of staff by 45% & refocus globally to change the way the business is managed.
  • Global change audit to assess the success & failures of the first phase of a global change programme and identify strategies to ‘fast forward’ the delivery of phase 2 targets.  
  • Facilitation of global leadership group to create the vision and strategy, for a ‘world class’ finance function at significant lower cost.
  • Coaching senior leadership team in leading & managing global change programme

  • Design and support of a global internal communications campaign addressing corporate compliance



  • BA (Hons) in Business Studies from Nottingham Trent University
  • Marketing Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing
  • MA in Psychotherapy from Middlesex University
  • Postgraduate training in Group Dynamics from the Institute of Psychosynthesis, London
